My Story...
I have always enjoyed the balance and harmony of a
well planned and organized space.
When I stop and think about
it, I have been organizing and decorating from the time I was a little girl. I would empty my entire bedroom out into the hallway, and redecorate my room in a different and creative way each
time. My mother put up with me doing this a few dozen times. I loved the challenge of always coming up with
a new design, in such a small space.
As I grew up and into my early
twenties I became a Dental Assistant and shortly thereafter moved into the field of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgical
Assisting. I really valued my career at that time. It offered me the opportunity to care for our patients preparing
for surgeries, exams, etc... I got so much joy in helping to comfort them and calm their spirits when they were
afraid or nervous. My skills of being highly organized came in handy while working in the medical field as well.
A good assistant always has to be well prepared and one step ahead of the doctor. After many years of assisting surgeries,
I began having difficulties with my wrists... and ultimately I knew that it was time to change careers.
Through the process of planning a new career, I realized that it was important to me
to continue to be able to do something that would help people. My friends and family encouraged me to get
into the organizing and decorating field. They were kind enough to remind me of my natural talents and abilities.
I had always wanted to do something creative and inspiring for a living.. so why not give it a try? I am a firm
believer that things happen for a reason. I decided that if I couldn't assist the doctor anymore, then I would assist
and help people to conquer the clutter in their lives... as well as create flow, balance and style in their
living spaces! Helping someone to eliminate stress and gain greater peace and beauty in their life, is truly
a blessing!
